GETTING STARTED
Start With a BAA. Then Give Us the Access Needed to Do the Work.
Before CareVixis accesses protected health information, we execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). From there, you provide secure, authorized access to the billing systems, payer portals, clearinghouse or other revenue-cycle information needed for the work you want us to perform.
- Sign the BAA. This establishes the HIPAA business-associate relationship before we access PHI.
- Define what you want us to work. Full revenue management or a clearly assigned A/R inventory alongside your current biller.
- Provide authorized system access. We use the access necessary to investigate and work the assigned accounts.
- We get to work. Your practice can keep operating while CareVixis begins showing you what a revenue partner looks like.
Additional service, payment and authorization terms may be documented as required before CareVixis performs billable services. The BAA governs handling of PHI; it is not, by itself, a substitute for applicable service or payment terms. Third-party or pass-through costs are separate from CareVixis setup and implementation fees.
What Happens on Day 91?
Nothing changes.
