Your Data Deserves More Than a Checkbox.

Claim and remittance information generally contains protected health information. Before you upload any of it, we walk you through a short account setup and an electronic Business Associate Agreement. That agreement is what makes handling your data lawful, so it comes first, not at the end.

Why this cannot be skipped

Under HIPAA, a vendor that handles protected health information on behalf of a practice is a business associate, and the relationship has to be documented in a Business Associate Agreement before the information changes hands. There is no version of this where you upload first and sign later.
